The 20/20 Experience by Justin Timberlake Review

So recently Justin Timberlake has stepped back into the music world with his new album called The 20/20 Experience.

And if I may say, WE WELCOME HIM WITH OPEN ARMS! This album has shown how Justin has grown in his music growth since his 'N Sync days, or even since his last solo album in 2006. I'm not necessarily saying that he was per say "musically immature" because he wasn't....he DEFIANTLY WAS NOT.

It just that this new album shows kind of a more R&B, neo-soul, hip hopy side to Justin which a lot of people are receiving very very well!

For one thing, Mr. Timberlake co-wrote on EVERY ONE OF HIS SONGS! Now c'mon! That takes some serious skills! But anyways back on track, so I've listened to this whole album and I have NO COMPLAINTS. I'm only going to be talking about the first three songs on the album.....so I can leave you intrigued! 

His first song, Pusher Love Girl, is a very R&B oriented and a very soothing, sensual song to be quiet honest. Which isn't a bad thing.....and it's a very great song. And normally I'm not all for 8 minute songs, but it flies by so fast you barely notice it was 8 minutes.

His second song, and very first single from the record, Suit & Tie which features rapper Jay-Z, is also very R&B oriented with little bursts of rap in there, which is a pretty good mix.

The lyrics are very catchy and are kind of give a classy feel. As does the music video for the song. I think it was represented perfectly. The song has also reached #2 on the US Billboards R&B/Hip Hops chart and #3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts and is PLATINUM IN THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, AND AUSTRALIA!

The third record on the album, Don't Hold the Wall, has a lot of African procession elements intertwined with major, MAJOR R&B elements. The song is about when you're usually at a club and people are standing against the wall instead of DANCING and like BEING NOTICED. I mean if people go to the club just to stand against the wall, they need to get their bootays out the club, 'cause some people are there to party and THEY(thewallhangers) are taking up oxygen space, ocraayy???

So check out this amazing album, I mean its a very refreshing album to hear in the music industry right now. If you're not into that type of music, I would just listen to the album out of curiosity....Kay? Kay? KAY????
